TERMS AND CONDITIONS – LITTLESTARS

Thank you for your interest in participating in LITTLESTARS. These Terms and Conditions govern participation in all LITTLESTARS contests organized through www.littlestarz.com.ng

 

By accessing this website, registering a child, submitting an entry, or participating in voting, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, including our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use this website or participate in the contest.

 

1. ELIGIBILITY

 

1.1 LITTLESTARS is open to children aged 1 to 15 years.

1.2 Participation is open to residents and indigenes of Nigeria only.

1.3 Entries must be submitted by a parent or legal guardian of the child.

1.4 Submitted images must not be affiliated with, sponsored by, or promote any brand, organization, or commercial entity.

1.5 All images must be decent, age-appropriate, and suitable for a children-focused platform.

 

🚫 NO REFUND POLICY:

All payments made for registration, voting, or any contest activity are NON-REFUNDABLE, regardless of the reason.

 

2. REGISTRATION & ENTRY

 

2.1 To participate, parents/guardians must:

 

Register on the LITTLESTARS website

 

Create a profile using valid contact details (name, email, phone number)

 

2.2 A clear image of the child must be uploaded:

 

Minimum resolution: 500 × 500 pixels

 

Maximum file size: 5MB

 

The image must include the child’s name and a short description

 

2.3 Only one (1) entry per child is allowed.

2.4 Blurry, offensive, misleading, incomplete, or edited images will be rejected.

2.5 LITTLESTARS runs contests periodically throughout the year.

 

3. VOTING & PAYMENTS

 

3.1 Voting is conducted online only through the LITTLESTARS website.

3.2 Each vote costs ₦50.

3.3 Payments may be made via:

 

Online payment gateways (e.g., Paystack, Flutterwave, PayPal)

3.4 Votes are counted automatically upon successful payment.

3.5 LITTLESTARS is not responsible for failed transactions caused by third-party payment platforms.

 

4. IMAGE OWNERSHIP & USE

 

4.1 Parents/guardians retain ownership of submitted images.

4.2 By submitting an entry, you grant LITTLESTARS the right to:

 

Display images on the website and social media

 

Use images for promotional and contest-related purposes

 

4.3 Participants are responsible for protecting their images from third-party misuse (e.g., watermarking).

4.4 LITTLESTARS and its partners are not liable for unauthorized third-party use of images.

 

5. WINNER SELECTION & PRIZES

 

5.1 Winners are determined strictly by highest number of valid votes.

5.2 The contest may include multiple stages, and contestants must complete all required stages to qualify.

 

PRIZE STRUCTURE

 

🥇 1st Place: ₦3,000,000

 

🥈 2nd Place: ₦2,500,000

 

🥉 3rd Place: ₦2,000,000

 

🏅 4th – 10th Place: Consolation prizes (cash or gift items, at the discretion of LITTLESTARS)

 

5.3 Winners will be contacted within 48 hours after the contest ends.

5.4 Cash prizes will be paid into the bank account provided by the parent/guardian.

5.5 Physical prizes will be delivered within 7 working days (within Nigeria).

 

6. FRAUD & DISQUALIFICATION

 

6.1 LITTLESTARS reserves the right to:

 

Investigate suspicious voting activities

 

Suspend or disqualify any contestant involved in fraud

 

6.2 If fraudulent activity is confirmed:

 

Votes will be nullified

 

Accounts may be permanently removed

 

Prizes will be revoked

 

No refund will be issued

 

6.3 Prize release may be delayed up to 90 working days for verification purposes.

 

7. ACCOUNT REMOVAL

 

7.1 If a participant’s account is removed:

 

Voluntarily by the parent/guardian, or

 

By LITTLESTARS for rule violations

 

👉 No prize and no refund will be issued under any circumstances.

 

8. CONTENT GUIDELINES

 

All submitted entries must:

 

Be original and owned by the parent/guardian

 

Not contain false, misleading, abusive, obscene, or inappropriate content

 

Not promote violence, criminal activity, or any unlawful act

 

Not include commercial or promotional materials

 

LITTLESTARS reserves the right to remove any entry that violates these rules at any time.

 

9. GOVERNING LAW

 

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the Laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

 

10. MODIFICATIONS

 

LITTLESTARS reserves the right to amend or update these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the website signifies acceptance of the updated terms.

 

11. PRIVACY & COOKIES

 

LITTLESTARS uses cookies to improve user experience and ensure proper website functionality. By using the site, you consent to the use of cookies in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

 

12. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

 

Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved amicably. Where resolution fails, disputes shall be settled through arbitration in accordance with Nigerian law.
